When I received it a bunch of the keys didn’t work at all lol. The delete key and a few function keys were completely non functional, maybe it was a fluke but it still ended up being a waste of time :( I ended up getting a Logitech keyboard with brown switches. Honestly I like it a lot more so I’m happy at the end of the day

Lets address the negatives. Yes, the keys can ping upon press. I dont care. Most of my mechanical keyboards make a lot of noise. I dont need silence, nor do I search for it. Go buy a Brown Cherry MX keyboard and find a product that was made for you if you dont like noisy switches. For the rest of us, these Titan Opticals are fast and responsive. The rebound and response are excellent, and it feels good to type and game on. For gamers, the W keycap has a little bump like your F and J keys for re-centering without looking. Actuation happens before you bottom out like most switches and the linear is great without any feedback until you bottom out. If you need feedback on actuation, Titan Optical is not for you. Choose the Titan Tactile Mechanical or similar. For the person that complained for the lack of dedicated media keys doesnt read the instructions. You can set F9-F12 dedicated to media keys as I do not use those keys on a regular basis (FN+DEL locks out only F9-F12 to media until you set it back). With the mute and volume knob its great for streaming music or Youtube. Game mode (FN+PGDOWN) locks out windows keys like most keyboards. Overall super happy with it. The only downside (and I didnt take off a star) is the FN+END which turn FN into another windows key works, but you cant revert back without unplugging the keyboard. Considering my K65 Corsair doesnt even give me that option on the hardware side, I cant fault this bug. The Titan Optical Switches are compatible with Cherry MX keycaps fyi as Ive swapped some of my Corsair keycaps just to see, but honestly the keycaps are great and I have no plans to swap them. One last note, the RGB lighting is north not south which I feel is pretty standard. Spacebar is 6.25u not 6.5u like most keyboards.

Pros - Wonderful, beautiful AIMO lighting that is by far the best RGB Ive ever used. - Fun to type on, nice feeling keycaps, lowish profile - Gorgeous to look at - Volume dial is nice, along with the mute button - Nice media function keys built in, although dedicated buttons wouldve been more welcome Cons - You need Roccat Swarm software running in the background to use the beautiful AIMO lighting system. This means I cant use it for my work laptop (cant download outside software) so Im stuck with generic lighting :( - Typing is loud (louder than blue clicky keys to some degree). Spacing and the switches makes my fingers hurt after long periods of time and I make WAY more typos on this than other keyboards (of which I have many, because I love them) - Volume is a turn dial and not something easier like a rolling dial like Logitech G915tkl. I prefer the rolling dial because you can use it with one finger. This Vulcan tkl requires two fingers at least and is heavy to use. Since I have a pull out keyboard draw, its hard to reach. Overall this is a beautiful keyboard to behold but I just cant find a good practical use for it as a main or long-typing driver.

I went from an old and trusted G15 gaming keyboard to this Vulcan and I couldnt be more please. It took me about 10 minutes to get used to the overall layout, and feel. The lighting on it is very bright, and with the software you can customize the keyboard how ever you like. The keystrokes are solid and smooth. the keys are a bit smooth, but not bad, just different. I have tried a few other mechanical keyboards and even though this one has optical switches they feel just like most other mechanical switches. Overall It has impressed the hell out of me, and it feels so well made, I am sure it will last just as long as my G15.

The ROCCAT Vulcan TKL Pro is a tenkeyless variant of the award-winning Vulcan keyboard family. This smaller form factor means gamers have room for a larger pad and can use a bigger range of a mouse movements, ultimately giving them greater accuracy. The linear Titan Switch Optical delivers lightspeed actuation and incredible precision, while maintaining a familiar mechanical keystroke feeling. The switch adds to a comprehensive feature set that gamers know and love. The low-profile design is engineered for comfort and to reduce fatigue. Impressive durability and build quality thanks to its reinforcing black anodized aluminum top plate, switches rated to 100 million keystrokes, dedicated mixer-style audio controls and per-key AIMO RGB lighting. To ensure additional peace of mind we provide a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty.
