Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1 Prime 250-Watt Mono Amplifier

Good value for the money and compact size.

Perfect for what I was looking for.

Using it to power 2x JL Audio 8s in sealed, under seat cab in F150. More than enough power. Deep, full, high quality bass response. The remote is a nice touch...makes set up and fine tuning easier.

I bought the Prime R2-250X1 after comparing it to the Prime R500X1D. Yes, the RMS ratings of 250w compared to 500w at 2ohm is a big difference, however my setup is a single Infinity 10 2ohm in a sealed box so either amp would have worked great. I ended up going with the R2 as I wanted the C.L.E.A.N. gain functionality (was extremely easy to setup) and beefier heatsink/case of the R2 series plus the original R500X1D is hard to find now.

This amp is great for the price.

Great value, quality and fairly easy install and hook up. Only improvement would be to explain the 2ohm vs 4 ohm connections a little clearer. Other than that a great purchase
