> 24 hourI bought the Prime R2-250X1 after comparing it to the Prime R500X1D. Yes, the RMS ratings of 250w compared to 500w at 2ohm is a big difference, however my setup is a single Infinity 10 2ohm in a sealed box so either amp would have worked great. I ended up going with the R2 as I wanted the C.L.E.A.N. gain functionality (was extremely easy to setup) and beefier heatsink/case of the R2 series plus the original R500X1D is hard to find now.

R2-250X1
The Prime R2-250X1 is a full-range class-D mono amplifier, capable of operating at 4Ω or 2Ω mono and rocking 250 Watts of RMS power. This amplifier is extremely efficient because of its class D technology, which reduces demand on the vehicles electrical system.
