> 3 dayIm an electrical engineer that on some days works with more wire and cable than most people do in their lives. I was an engineer at a wire and cable production facility for several years. We produced wire and cable for the DOD, aerospace industry, military and were contract a production facility to several enterprise grade network cable brands. My brother in law purchased this set when he asked me to help him install a stereo in his car. The good: Highly stranded for high surface area and signal transmission. Soft supple jacket makes it easy to work with. Gauage seems fairly accurate. Comes with 100amp maxifuse and lots of connectivity. The bad: I knew picking up a cable, by the weight, it wasnt pure copper. After doing a scratch and cut test on some strands, theres aluminum in it. Cutting several strands reveals a silver colored core or aluminum. Rubbing it with your fingers and the copper rubs off and reveals aluminum. Scratching the side of a few strands with a knife reveals aluminum. The ground wire was extemely low content copper, and where I would assume they are offseting losses from higher copper content power cable. In all fairness the packaging doesnt state its 100% copper. They just tout a higher copper content than their competitors, due to more strands and a thinner jacket, which makes it close to 4awg. Its a little misleading. The speaker cable is low guage with a thick jacket. Skeptical of it being a 16awg conductor. In all, at this price point, I was doubtful of it being 100% copper 4awg high strand cable. They make no claims on the packaging of it being 100% copper core. Its not as bad as some of the abominations Ive seen from China. However, those saying this is pure copper are incorrect. This is definitely CCA with a higher copper content than some, but still not pure. *As a sidenote, I tried taking pics with my phone of the aluminum showing, similar as to another review I did where someone was passing low guage CCA off as high guage pure, but they didnt turn out well due to size of the strands and a poor cell camera. The stereo has since been installed so Im not able to try again.

> 3 dayMy Rockford R150 2 ch amp is hooked up with this kit. No problems or interference at all. This is a good kit to start with the first time. Dont ever cheap out on something you want to last and have quality with. Im glad i went with this kit and it has everything you need to hook that sub and amp up to get it running at home. This kit went into my civic with all the wires hidden and amp under the seat. There is easily enough to hook up the amp in the trunk or probably hook up another amp.

> 3 dayGood kit. Has everything you need to install your amp. Only bad part about this kit is the speaker wire. It says 16 ga wire but it seems more like 18 with a thick coating to look like 16. But besides that a really nice install kit.

> 3 dayI only bought this kit for the power and ground wire. I wanted some quality OFC wire and this kit has it. The fuse holder is cheap. Its a giant ugly pink/purple fuse that sticks out of the holder. It does work, but I plan on buying an ANL fuse holder later on. I wish someone would make a kit that had the best of everything so I didnt have to mix and match... RF wiring, mediabridge rca, and maybe the kicker or RF ANL fuse holder.

> 3 dayThis kit is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I was very hesitant searching for the right set, because the main problems with wiring kits are: 1. Not true to the specified gauge 2. Made with aluminum, not 100% oxygen Free Copper (better conductor) This kit is both true 4AWG wire AND 100% OFC. It comes with a very nice red power cable and black ground cable, twisted RCA cables that reduce noise and distortion, very sturdy speaker wire and remote wire, an awesome 100A fuse in a sturdy fuse holder*, and every terminal piece youll need to cleanly end your wires. On top of that, it is very affordable. Ive looked at every wiring kit on Amazon, and I will say that this was the right choice. If you want your system running at its full potential, do NOT skimp on the wiring. Go big or go home. This kit will definitely help you go big. *NOTE: To tighten the fuse connections down, the silver piece on the plastic fuse holder pops out so you can tighten the screws! Took me a minute to figure out.

> 3 dayThe wiring that comes with this kit is very good. Rockford Fosgate doesnt try to cut you short anywhere on the wiring. They give you plenty of wiring and the installation was very easy for me.

> 3 dayDont cheat yourself on the wires, these rock. I have them powering 2 amps and not a problem, these are legit 4 gauge wires.

> 3 dayI have used this amp kit in two different vehicles and on multiple amps, and I have no complaints with it. It is true 4 Guage (NOT including the insulation) high quality copper wire. The speaker wire is only 16 guage, but it is also good quality.
