The product was opened, and the seals were all broken. These are not New. I have not tested it yet, but will update this once I find out. ... Edit. Ok the cable works at least.

Rocksmith is an awesome game this would be a great gift for anyone that has this game.

There’s virtually nothing wrong with the cable. Ive had it for a few months now and I’ve used it quite a bit. Making sure to be careful when using it and putting it in a safe space when not in use. I was playing a song and them it stopped working. Every time i plug it in it wont even recognize it.

I was torn between getting a 3rd party cable or one of these to play Rocksmith, and decided to just buy the official one. Personally I think it’s worth every dollar, the sound quality is great and there’s no delay. I was able to purchase my unit for $30, but I know the prices fluctuate. If you’re looking for a Rocksmith cable or even something just to plug your guitar into your computer with just shell out the extra $10-15 over the 3rd party ones. It works quick and natively without any mods.

This cable works to get the game to recognize the sound coming from the guitar but you still will have to buy a usb to 3.5mm aux adaptor to send the sound to speakers or an amp or you will still have sound lag.

I am so happy with the cable that I want to write a review for it. I thought it was exclusively for the game but when I plugged it in my Mac, iPad, PC, it works flawlessly without any driver. I returned a fancy audio interface because of this gem! I would say if you have a electric guitar, buy this! You can record with it, use virtual amp with it and even play the best guitar game with it!

Works Great!

The box was crushed slightly on the back and the top of the box was torn but the cable inside appears to be undamaged, and the plastic bag it was in Is still intact. Havent tested the cable yet, will update later.
