Greater than one weekNeeded to drill thru our brick home and foundation stones to install a new furnace. Was initially impressed at how well the 2 bit went thru the brick, but then it caught and the drill spun, and bent the bit. I thought it was done, but I put the bit back in the hole and carefully bent it back straight (mostly) and was able to keep drilling. Make sure to hold the drill securely! Have to stop every inch depth and chisel out the brick plug as the bit bottoms out at that point. Next hole was through foundation stone (oolite I think) with the 1.5 bit. The cutting surface got gunked up with the dust from the stone and got stuck in the hole. Ended up having to use a bigger bit to drill around the stuck bit and with much patience and difficulty dig it out of the hole. The shank on this bit then broke off, leaving it useless. I was able to put a bolt thru the hole to get a little more use out of it (see the pic), but not ideal. Maybe a setup like a wood hole saw set - with one shank that screws on to all the hole saws would be a sturdier design. FYI If youre drilling a deep hole, the 3/8 collet forstner bit extender does work with these bits, but the shank on these bits is so short that only one set screw will engage the bit. And be careful that screw doesnt loosen so you lose the bit in the hole! If youre looking for a one time use, or just light hobby use, these bits might work, but any heavier use and they are just not up to the task. Hope this helps somebody.

> 3 dayUpdate: Seller contacted me after the following review and offered to replace or refund. Also, after reading other reviews I would like to add a reminder to always use these with water (if you want them to work for more than 1 hole). That goes for any continuous surface diamond cutter. Keep applying water as cutting surface dries. Water will also help flush out the debris. Great selection of sizes for the price. Dont expect to do cut a lot of holes with any one. Found the diamond coating on the inner surface flacked off on the two larger sizes I used. Handy to have the selection of sizes for the occasional use. The slot for debris removal on the smaller sizes is too small. Kept having to stop and try to clean out the debris, which often got stuck inside when drilling porcelain tile. The 1/4 size lasted for about 11 holes going through 3/8 porcelain, thinset, and hardie board (about an inch thick). Should have invested in a good 1/4 diamond holesaw with large debris flute sooner. Way faster.

> 3 dayI bought these to cut glass and ceramics. They work as described but won’t last very long. I got two good cuts and the diamond coating was almost completely gone. For big jobs I would purchase their higher quality cutting tools.

> 3 dayUpdate: The seller reached out to me after reading this review and offered a full refund or replacement. :) Original review: No instructions for the guide are included in the box. I stuck the guide to a clean, flat matte finish ceramic tile (not over a grout line), pressed the lever down, and there was enough suction to keep the guide on the wall, but not enough to keep it from wandering once I started drilling through the tile. I ended up making my own jig out of wood and clamping it in place to keep the bit from wandering. I drilled at medium speed using moderate pressure, pausing every ten seconds or so to mist the area with water. The 40mm bit worked fine, and got through the 7mm ceramic tile in a couple of minutes.

> 3 dayThe bits are well made and withstood the task at hand which was about 1.5 of solid granite. The odd contraption they include with the bits is honestly a terrible attempt at whatever it is they thought they were solving. It is useless. I just chucked it away. I use a 90 degree portable press to prime my hole and then finish it off by hand with the drill. I wish theyd shave off the price and save us the extra plastic and bearings. Other than that, a great product.

> 3 dayRated 5 star but not 100% satisfied. I should have shopped more as I only needed 1 size to drill travertine shower for anchors. The bit did make 4 holes, where others failed after barely cutting a dimple, but the bit is worn and will not work any further. The suction cup guide did not work at all, as the suction is poor at best. Good bits but kit more than needed and guide plate might work for smooth tile but not travertine.
