Upon opening the box I discovered one bottle with a few drops of liquid in it.

These work great with the stainless roller ball doing what it should. I use it for my bug repellent which is an oil and one for a face serum. So far so good and I love the Amber color to keep light out.

Works well for my oils

When I was given the chance to review these roller bottles at a discounted price, I jumped at the chance. I am an aromatherapy student and am always on the lookout for quality roller bottles in which to make up different roller blends. I was drawn to these bottles because of the beautiful amber color and the fact that the roller ball is metal. When they arrived, I was very pleased first of all with the packaging. The roller bottles fit just perfectly in a slim box that would fit quite nicely in a purse or bag. The metal roller part does fit quite snugly on the bottle, as it should, however, it isnt difficult to pop it off to fill or refill the bottle. I have made quite a few blends and used these bottles and none of them have leaked. That is a big plus in my book! I use this for oil and love them. They are sturdy and there is some leakage, but if you keep them upright its okay. I think most of the leakage is from refilling them, because you cant help but get oil on the outside when opening it up. Easy to open and refill.

These still arent the perfect roller bottles Im looking for because a little more oil comes out than Id like, but theyre still a great value and work better than any other 5mL bottles Ive used.
