Roller Derby Firestar Youth Girls Quad Roller Skates

My daughter requested roller skates as her Christmas gift this year and I purchased these. Theyve been working great, but be aware that those who are learning to skate WILL scuff up the outside of these skates. My daughter skates every day and loves these, but they sorta look like they belong to a beginner, know what I mean? ;-) Overall, great price and slick colors and design for beginning skaters.

I was a little disappointed in the flimsy materials. Especially the shoe strings. They wont last long. I have bought other bargin brands on Amazon that were much better and longer lasting.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my eight year old daughter who is just learning to skate and she absolutely loves them. They were on her feet almost immediately and have been all over the house - up and down stairs, carpet and hard wood, concrete and grass. It doesnt seem to matter; these things can go anywhere. They are also easy enough an eight year old can voluntarily wipe them down to clean them off (I guess she wants to take care of them). We havent had them long, but you can probably tell they are loved. I havent tried them on myself since my size 14 feet are a little bigger than the size 1 we bought, but they seem to be true enough to size that I havent heard any complaints about tight toes or pinching. I am more of an in-line kind of guy but would happily recommend these any time.

We bought a size 2, size 3, and size 4, trying to find the right size. The size 2 and size 4 had white insoles and smelled like new shoes. The size 3 had black insoles and **stunk**. It smelled like a weird chemically mixture of nasty toe jam or toe fungus or weird bad foot smell. We thought maybe theyd been worn and stunk, so we bought another size 3 since that was the right size. It smelled the same. So, we kept the size 3 knowing that the stink was NOT feet--it was manufacturing smell from the different insoles. Great skates! Daughter loves them! If your Size 3 has black insoles and smells bad, its not from gross feet, its from chemical rubber, so keep em. -1 star for the bad smell. Otherwise, great skates!

Missing a shoelace. How can I get it. back? Please let me know; otherwise, it will be useless.

I live in a pretty bad part of town and I was walking home from work one night, turned a corner, and came upon a street fight. A big girl wearing an eye patch was just beating the piz out of this smaller girl wearing these roller skates. I was in shock. I just stood there watching it unfold. Do I feel bad about that? A little. I swear, all I could think was, I absolutely love those roller skates. Anyway, eye patch ended up knocking out roller skates and running away. I called 911. I also stood over her lifeless body, snapped a pic of the skates, and ordered them that night. Theyre that great.

Didnt know what to get a 7 year old for her birthday....this fit the bill

really cute little skates but they RUN SMALL!! I bought my baby 2 sizes bigger and they were perfectly fit. his toes were right at the tip. but 3-4 sizes bigger

We bought there choir our daughters 9th birthday. She opened then and you would have thought she went tio Disney, she was sooo excited. Was bouncing aroundand insisted she try them out. She did. Fit well, color just as pictured. We made plans to go skating and shedid great. Better than expected for her 3rd time. Thank you for helping us make her day!!!
