I had a hard time finding my 11 y/o cute skates for Christmas & was skeptical given theyre adjustable, as I thought that would mean cheap & awkward. Not at all! They are PU/vinyl, so theyre probably not going to give like leather, but theyre actually pretty darn comfortable right out of the box. I wear a womens size 7 w/ a slightly narrow foot and these skates totally fit me & Ive been skating around on them all weekend so feel qualified to give an initial review. My feet are sensitive to non-leather so I have to wear thick socks to prevent rubbing on my ankles. Pros: - Very good quality for the price - Seem sturdy & solid - Definitely adjustable in a good way, goes to at least a womens size 7 (maybe even 7 1/2) & my daughter wears a girls 5 1/2 & they fit her great--its a very subtle adjustment, no cranking or clicking, so seems well designed - Theyre pretty comfy w/ good cushion (esp compared to a $170 pair I bought myself & had to immediately return they were so awful) - Skate relatively well Cons - As expected at this price point, they arent quite as smooth as a more expensive skate - The toe stop is terrible, too hard of plastic & not gummy or flexible at all (Im unsure if it can be swapped out but will def look into it; Im an experienced skater & almost fall forward trying to stop w/ these) - Wheels are meh, cant really slide/cross skate, but again for the price theyre totally fine - The vinyl is a bit stiff, especially around the ankle bone, which requires thicker stocks to prevent blisters if youre prone to that type of thing - Perhaps might not be good for a beginner, Im unsure b/c I dont know what would make a better entry-level skate--smoother or slower wheels & bearings? These seem pretty solid, decently smooth & fast if that helps at all. My daughter is still learning & she likes them but also doesnt have anything to compare them to other than ice skates (which she prefers, tbh). Overall, Im giving them 5 stars due to the quality & comfort for the price. Are they top tier? Not at all, but for $60 theyre a really great deal for entry-level skates.

Cute skates, but way too big. I actually bought two pairs, different brands, same sizes (J12-2). I have twins that both enjoy roller skating. My daughter has been wanting to learn more limbo moves so I thought the boot style of this would be better. I consulted a few differ skate shops for measurements and size. My daughter is a J12. (Her foot measures 7 1/4” long, wears US size 12 little kid shoe.) This skate did not adjust. Maybe it’s defective, but the boot didn’t appear to change size. The skates I bought my son do adjust. But in general, his skates, both on the same setting, are clearly smaller. Again, it’s possible these are just defective. I’m giving it a 3 that the pattern and quality is quite nice and just assuming it’s not working right. We are returning.

My 7 year old loves these. She wears them all day long when she is at home. They are such a good quality. She is a size 2.5, and we got 3-6. They are very long, but I think it helps with balance.

They are absolutely adorable. What little girl wouldnt love kitties, rainbows, unicorns & donuts? They seem to be very sturdy and well made. Theyre perfect for any little girl. I love how you can adjust the size. They can fit size 12 - 2 child I believe.
