> 3 daySturdy, yet small. Perfect if your American Girl doll needs to carry her things for a sleepover. Not ideal if youre an adult looking for an actual giant canvas bag for moving your stuff. Guess it depends on which you are.

Greater than one weekMy wife and I went on a 3,300 mile trip in my Subaru Forester. We took our two Australian Shepherd’s, camping gear and going to town gear/attire as we rotated between hotels and campgrounds. We used this bag for all our clothes and carried it in the roof rack along with another bag like it filled with hiking, fishing and town shoes. The bags were perfect because they were easy to hoist up in the rack, they are pliable and conformed to the space and when I put the cargo net over them and hooked it up they again conformed to the net so they never slipped around and I never worried about them flying off. Plus the bugs the front bag collected was mineable because I was able to smush the bag down where the wind deflector also kept most of the the bugs from hitting the bag.

Greater than one weekHave purchased at least 6 of these over the years and they are tough yet very light(2lbs), so awesome for relocating to another country. A little hard to carry round the airport as they have no wheels so just pay for a cart or a porter, worth it. We still have and use two of the original bags we got years back, gave a couple away, and have now purchased two new ones for our recent trans country move. Very satisfied...

> 3 dayI purchased this to carry EmComm HAM radio antenna supplies and it is as advertised. I would prefer to have a brass zipper and a solid bottom, but this is the only bag this size I could find. No worries as it does its intended job.

> 3 dayIve read mixed reviews about Rothco products, but my experience - thus far - has been A+. I love the cargo size of the bag and the design of the zipper closure (heavy-duty zipper) that opens over the edges of the bag, making it easy to extract large items (i.e. heavy quilts, featherbed) without a lot of pulling and tugging. The choice of using the zipper or snaps to close is clever - zipper for more security and snaps for quick access to contents. The canvas is just the right thickness to be protective, yet it washes well, with no color fading, and it makes a comfy pillow if stuffed with fabric items. The straps are wide, so they dont cut into your shoulder when carrying a heavy load and stitched securely on all the stress points. Im not sure what the weight capacity is supposed to be, but Im sure it is more than I could carry. Ive loaded the bag to ~40 pounds - it handles the load better than I do.

> 3 dayCheap and still sturdy and the low price fits the value for this bag. Second one Ive bought over the years. Still using the first one as well. Low cost and not bad for the money.

> 3 dayFrom the moment I saw the bag I knew it was of high quality. The thick canvas looks strong and durable. The bag was definitely bigger than I expected. I mean it could serve as my main checked bag on a weeks vacation or even longer. The bag uses a strong single zipper. You can probably place a lock through the zipper and the shoulder strap so the single zipper isnt necessarily a negative. There are also 4 buttons that when fastened enclose the entire zipper track. The result is a very streamlined and an aesthetically pleasing bag. I am very impressed with the quality and size given the $20 price tag. To think that I probably would have spent 3-5 times the price on something of similar quality is crazy to me. A big plus for me is that this can be worn like a backpack if it isnt loaded with extremely heavy items. A shoulder strap wouldve been nice but Im just nitpicking at this point. The price, quality, and packing room are all excellent. Highly recommended to anyone but especially the traveler on a budget.
