Roxio Creator NXT 9 | Multimedia Suite and CD/DVD Disc Burning Software [PC Disc]

Once a fine editing suite; now, basic editing tools are shabby. Company should focus on strengthening the basic editing tools, as in back in Roxio 10, instead of adding new bells and whistles to attract the unaware. What good is the razzle-dazzle when the basics dont function dependably all the time. Crashes frequently. Show/hide feature is so random that adding a title, suddenly it will disappear, and you have to click show/hide, then OK. WTF? Wastes editing time trying to make it work. Crashes frequently. Moving an overlay takes sometimes 20-30 seconds to load; sometimes OK. Crashes frequently. And did I mention that it crashed frequently? Sometimes for the simplest thing--like adding a photo/video. I have tried several orders of this, hoping the next one will be better. The current one doesnt have nearly the amount of transitions that the last one of same product did. Product is inconsistent. Crashes frequently. Why doesnt Roxio at least add an auto-Save feature so that you wont lose your hard work and so that you dont have to Save every few edits--just in case it does what? CRASHES! So I am giving up after using multiple Roxio versions for years and years. To be fair, I dont know if there is something about my PC that is contributing to the issues. Though I have had problems on several PCs. But after trying a clean install and still having problems, I give up. I just checked, and Im running out of time for return--having been too frustrated to try it for a long stretch of time. And too busy with other things. So Im returning Roxio for the last time. Based solely on my bad experiences, I advise buyers to beware.

Love this product. Easy to build DVDs and movies.

I loaded the disk into my computer. I have not been able to rip or burn any CDs since. Called the help number. Got a lady with a very thick accent who asked me for my e-mail address. Never heard from anyone. Sent e-mail asking for help. Got somebody who wanted me to take a screenshot of the error message. There was no error message. So now I have a Roxio package which cost me over $100 which doesnt work. Expensive package which does not work. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM COREL!!!

i ordered the download. It would not install. I then ordered the disc. The key on the disc envelope did not work. Said it was not a valid number for either program. Neither the download nor the disc worked.

The Roxio Creator NXT 9 installation cd that I ordered from Amazon would not finish installing on my windows 11 computer. The certificate with the cd was outdated. However, with the CD and the installation code that came in the box with it on the cd sleeve, inside the box it gives you the url to download a copy of the software from Roxios website using the cds installation code. It downloaded for me fine and runs good on my computer, no problems found. I would give the order 5 stars except for having to go through the extra process of downloading the product.

could not install. the numbers were not acceptable. contacted support and was told that the manufactor would contact me in 3 to 4 hours. Its been 4 days and nothing! No support of any kind.

Used to use this suite years ago and purchased with reasonable confidence. It has been a complete waste of money. label maker displays oddly and does not have templates for common labels and video editor just doesnt run because it thinks screen resolution is low!

I created a 25 minute long DVD video production. However when I tried to export it as a videowave the output kept freezing up at the 5:30 minute mark. Ive been trying to get help from (overseas) tech support via chat for about a week to no avail. I keep getting the same response that it have been sent to an assigned specialist. On a couple of occasions the response give me was a verbatim reply from the previous chat participant. It is all very frustrating and Im still waiting for a truthful response and repair.
