> 3 dayI felt like this Rubbermaid dish pan was very overpriced but I really like it. It is a thicker and smoother plastic than anything else that I could find. It doesn’t stain or get scratched up as easily as other cheaper ones that I have had and it seems to be lasting much longer and better.

> 3 dayIt took me a long time to find a basin that was deep enough and large enough to soak my tired feet in at the end of the day. This is the ticket!

26-11-2024Finally, a washbasin that is sturdy enough to handle a full tub of dishwater. It reminds me of the washtubs in the house when I was a kid. We often will carry tubs of greywater out to the garden and have found that most tubs just are not up to the task with some failing in a matter of weeks. This tub is rigid and has nice handles for carrying the load without fear of collapse. I hope I can find similar replacement years down the line when its time for a new one. While the market has many competitors at much lower prices my advice is not to bother as you get what you pay for.

> 3 dayWe had a dish pan, it was hard to pick up because it was flimsy on the edges. This one is very sturdy! Very good item at a very good price!

Greater than one weekI paid a bit more for this Rubbermaid dish basin than I would have for the Sterlite basin, but you can see and feel that the Rubbermaid is the better quality. This basin is the perfect side for either side of a divided (2 part) kitchen sink. I bought the basin for washing dishes on camping trips, but will probably also use it in my kitchen to save my sink(s) from wear and tear. The basin is deep and has a rim that you can use to carry your water from a water spigot (while camping) to your table. I highly recommend that you spend the extra couple of dollars and get the Rubbermaid.

Greater than one weekAccidentally melted part of my 50-yr old Rubbermaid dish tub, and it started to crack. So I got a new one a few years ago and am already replacing it because it has started to crack - without the aforementioned melting accident. Were an adult home, so the thing isnt getting abused. Im buying the same one to replace it because this size is hard to find - and the handle shape is important because others with the same tub dimensions wouldnt fit in my sink due to the handles. So here we go again - just know that this one wont last very long.
