It took a few people to put this together. There were not any actual directions to put it together. We ended up tacking the balloon connector plastic rope thing to the wall after (loosely) to the wall in the shape we wanted with the tail attached at the end and then added the balloons to it. The balloon tape was a little bit of a pain but worked good enough. I strongly recommend purchasing a extra bag of matching balloons because some will pop after it is put together. We put it up the day before and about 5 balloons did pop and we just replaced with the extra ones and used to balloon tape. I would buy this again for another party for sure!

This was perfect for my daughter’a mermaid theme birthday party! This was my first attempt at any balloon garland and it was super easy to figure out and even hang up by myself!

Ordered this for my granddaughters first birthday. Do yourself a favor and order the balloon blower piggy. That was a lifesaver. Easy to blue up the balloons and Easy to put together. It was amazing.

I’m writing this review because the fins are so small! The balloons were great, maybe 10 popped but some of them due to over inflation on my part. When you spend almost 2 hours making the arch and then put the fins on it’s a bummer. My advice would be to under inflate the balloons so the fins look bigger and there’s a lesser chance of popping. Definitely buy a balloon pump, made it super easy. For $14 yes I’d do it again!

I bought this for my niece bday party and she loved it. Pictures doesn’t do it justice the colors were beautiful and the balloon garland made it easy to assemble over all super easy to work with. I inflated all the balloons and it was a good size. The quality of the balloons was good none of them popped, the only problem I faced was that one of the mermaids fin had a tear I’m not sure if I caused it when I was inflating it but a little tape did the job of fixing it. Over all LOVED IT!!!!

Amazing value and really beautiful. Assembly was a tiny bit challenging not sure which sizes to put where and I struggled to put it up and it keep mermaid shape. I saw videos where people used a circular form to attach to to get mermaid *shape* would definitely recommend and try again with a better plan for display!

This was my First attempt at creating a mermaid tale. This kit got the job done and I still have ballots is left over.

Once I finally got it together, it was beautiful. However, the balloon quality was inferior. We did not overinflate them but I could be nowhere near them and they would just pop. I ended up blowing up and reattaching at least 1/3 of the balloons that came in the kit. Fortunately I had ordered matching colors for a regular balloon arch and was able to use those to complete the project. It also came with black balloons instead of the silver ones shown in the picture. I had purchased enough silver ones for the other arch that I could substitute. Was going to save the black ones for a different event but ended up throwing them away based on the performance of the others. Also, the balloon glue (little round sticky dots) for making it fuller did not hold very long despite using several dots per balloon. Ended up having to use rolled up scotch tape just before the party to patch up the gaps where the others had fallen. :-( The mylar fish tail that came with it was great but everything else was terrible quality. If I ever do another mermaid tail, Ill just buy the balloons separately and get a mylar fish tail separately.

Pros: The balloons looked nice and were a great price. The colors were vibrant and beautiful and went great with my daughters mermaid theme. Cons: However, a bunch of the smaller balloons deflated quickly and had to be replaced. Also, one of the fins of the mermaid tail kept losing air. Ended up having to leave it half deflated for the party. Overall the effect was nice but the quality wasn’t the best. Kind of wish I would’ve spent a little more and received better quality so it wouldn’t cause me stress before the party.

It took me two days to assemble..it eventually became a mermaid tail, but not really. It would have been helpful to have the balloons packaged in bags of the order you put them in. Its is bigger than I expected..but I was pleased with it by the time I was done. It was still very pretty, and my granddaughter loved it.. it was definitely an eye catcher, and her party was beautiful.
