> 3 dayThese are awesome, I wish I had purchased them sooner. They provide privacy, shade and cool off my deck at my campground. They slide into the awning track, and come out just as easy. You can fold them up and put them away. The instructions say do not roll up in your awning. I dont recommend it because it widens the diameter of the tool and could stretch or damage your awning. Note that the size as written seems backwards to me. The first dimension is the drop and the second dimension is the width, so check the description of the product and measure accordingly. I have 1 awning thats an odd smaller than typical size so I just ordered slightly bigger width and its fine. Dont worry about the drop unless you have high awnings, longer wont hurt because you can stake it in the ground. Great quality and durability.

> 3 dayBest purchase ever! We just spent two weeks at our favorite lake spot and this was worth every penny! I was initially skeptical and worried about it causing issues with our awning during a windy/stormy period but much to my surprise it actually helped stabilize the awning. It kept the awning tethered so it wouldn’t fly up all of the time. Plus, it cut some of the wind that would have otherwise lifted the awning. It still let some of the breeze through. The bungee tethers had just enough for some movement to keep it from ripping but Was completely secure. Previously our awning wouldn’t provide enough shade until almost two in the afternoon but with the shade sail it knocked out enough sun we could use our patio area all day long. The sunrise was perpendicular to our awning which made for beautiful sunrises but would cause a glare across the water. The sun shade helped cut the glare as well. It created a little more privacy from those across the water but didn’t block our view by any means. I like the sturdiness of the material. It seems like it will last. Our awning is 14 ft wide x 7 ft tall (give or take a couple inches)from the track to the ground. We ordered the 13ft x 9ft. The width lined up perfectly with the awning and the height was perfect. The 9 ft height allowed us to pitch the shade sail To keep us from feeling like we were closed off. We got plenty of rain and the rain ran off like a charm. It acted like a rain chain on gutters almost. It guided the water off the awning down to the ground so it didn’t splash off the side like normal. It won’t stop the rain but it did shield the patio area a little. Recommended to everyone at our campground!

> 3 dayLooked good, but won’t work for us. Awning too high to fool with getting a ladder out to remove the shade each time.

Time well spent
> 3 dayNot crazy about the Brown, Im more crazy about the view I get when my wife hangs it on the awning, oh well, my wife likes it lots of shade she says.

Greater than one weekWe are in Florida, over last summer the tree at our site was taken down so we are in the hot sun all day. We purchased this shade to cut down on the sun and heat. It is fabulous! Our motor home stays much cooler and cuts down on having to use the air conditioner. We do take down and retract our awning in heavy wind. The only con is having to slide the shade off to retract. I have seen other brands with a zipper 3foot down allowing someone height challenged like me do by myself without climbing a stool.

> 3 dayVery easy to install, looks great, and we get lots of compliments. Blocks the sun and you can still enjoy the view while sitting under the awning. We love to display our flag and this one is huge!

> 3 dayEasy to install. Our ground was too hard for the stakes so we used cinderblocks to anchor the bottom of the shade. I suggest metal stakes. Keeps area cool and adds some privacy. Havent had it long enough for durability comment. Hint: if you need to temporarily roll the awning up, slide the shade cloth off the awning and lay on ground near the stakes. This is so you wont have to pull up your stakes.
