Purchased set of these last year and indicated at the time could not leave accurate review until we used awhile. It has been in the tank for several months and my wife remarked recently that we haven’t had any odor yet. With other rods had to flush the tank and change old rod monthly to get rid of odor.

This worked as advertised, but for a very short time. May be our water is just bad, but we had to replace after just a couple weeks.

This rod was the perfect replacement for my RV water heater. Price is great also.

threads needed to tapered to go into water heater. Thank God I know a machinist that helped me fix the deficiency with this product

Great product, really helps eliminate unpleasant odors.

We camp seasonal and run off a well. We flushed our hot water heater with 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 water and let sit over night. Took the smell away but by following weekend it was back. Bought this and changed out old one and ran water line of any smelly water in kitchen and bathroom. Heated water up and immediately no more smell! So happy with this product!
