Used it to add power to my barn

Loved the quality of this product. Unfortunately I had to upgrade to a 20amp outlet so I returned this product reluctantly. The 20amp outlet was far inferior to the 15amp rated RVGAURD unit. But since the replacement was rated for 20amps I went with it. But if I didnt know better I would/should have used the RVGAURD. Decisions, decisions!

I generally use a different brand, but decided to give this a try. Easy to install. Im a little skeptical about the dependability of the cover flap, but so far it is working well.

Like- put on outside of cargo trailer for power inside, put one outlet, switch, and light, plug cord in from outside and now you have power.

Put one on the house in the past for a generator connection to run the furnace. This one’s on a truck topper

Great addition if you want to have shore power or charger hookups on your camper. The rubber cover is “waterproof” but doesn’t actually seal very well. It’s more of a dust cover. Unless your doing water crossings frequently this will work great. The wire is also not molded onto the plug so you can wire in a longer cable if you needed to.

I installed mine in the wall of a garden shed. Made it easy to power my shed with my solar generator.

Not bad for the cost.
