I will say I do not leave these in cages with my piggies. But they do get out in play yards so these are great to set up and throw in there. It easily wipes clean and then folds up really nicely for storage. My guineas can entertain themselves for hours jumping, running, and chasing each other through these tunnels. Very pleased with this purchase.

Maybe its just my guineas, but mine made a complete mess of this rather quickly. They have no shame in pooping/peeing right where they stand so the bottom of this tunnel was extremely gross within days. I handwashed twice, but the stains were there, and the smell didnt quite come out so I decided my only option was to wash on delicate in a washing bag.. dont do that because it comes completely apart! Also, if you have a chewer please know they can chew holes right through it within minutes. The guineas loved it while it lasted, but they are only getting well made bottomless tunnels from now on.

This toy made my Guinea pig happy but it really wasn’t easy to clean. I had to use a scrubber and then it didn’t even take away the stains.

Our 5 month old Guinea Pigs absolutely love it! Size is good and it just pops open! Highly recommended!

Didnt really think and threw this in the washer with the rest of my piggies bedding. I havent ran across anything not machine washable made for guinea pigs yet (have you seen how much they poo?) and it got absolutely destroyed in the washer. Im lucky the wires didnt break my washing machine. They were taking their food in the tunnel to eat so anyone with piggies can imagine how filthy it was after a day or two. I rinsed it off and threw it in to see if I could get it as good as new again, not thinking. My piggies loved this before I ruined it, so just make sure you dont put it in the washing machine and you should be fine. We will stick to fleece tunnels for now.

Theres nothing wrong with the item itself. Its functional and provides a hidey hole for the pigs. Works exactly as intended. But dont buy it for guinea pigs! They like it so they poop in it and its not made to throw in the washing machine. Guinea pigs require a lot of clean up time so I cant spend time scrubbing it by hand. I should have realized this before I purchased it.
