S-ZONE Vintage Canvas Messenger Bag Shoulder Bag 14 Inch Laptop Briefcase

Great looking, exactly what I was looking for, and I was looking at bags 2-3x the price. I picked it because it doesnt look like one of those typical nerdy laptop bags. A few issues to put in the you get what you pay for file, but they are fixable if you have the time. If you dont you may find a much more expensive bag, but I still like the look of this one, and Ive gotten lots of compliments. It also holds up well - I am writing this over two year after I bought the bag. Heres what I did, which sounds like a lot of work, but it really wasnt for me since I considered it to be a project that I did over time. Worth noting that I didnt need to do any of this to make it look good and be functional, I just liked the bag and wanted it to look nicer. 1) Nowhere near enough cushion for a laptop. Easy remedy, buy a laptop sleeve. This is what I got: MOSISO Water Repellent Neoprene Sleeve Bag Cover Compatible with 13-13.3 inch laptop. I might have been able to squeeze an inch or two more out of it, but I think this was perfect for my 13 Dell Inspiron. Its not a high end protector, but it keeps away scratches and probably a few minor dings. 2) I think the canvas could have been waxed to make it firmer, and waterproof. I bought otter wax and it worked fine. 3) I really didnt like that faux leather label front and center. Not sure why they put it there since it is what it is, a cheap canvas bag. Its not like anyone is going to ask, Wow, is that a real S-ZONE bag? I took it off very easily with a stitch remover tool in a few minutes. If you have a sewing kit, you have one of these. 4) Maybe the biggest issue was the faux leather straps. Would be great if they were real leather, but you cant expect that in a bag at this price. Instead, they are shiny and stiff, which I think makes it look cheap. I spent time flexing the straps between my fingers. Not hard - I did it while I was watching TV so it was painless. Then I put some rubbing alcohol on a towel and rubbed them down for a few seconds to remove the shininess. Theyre still not leather, but theyre less noticeable. Otherwise, good deal, looks great, plenty of room for other things. Very happy with this purchase. Starting a new job this week, and Ill be happy to carry it on my shoulder.

I have purchased this bag twice for my son. Each one lasted about 10 months before it started to fall apart. He loves it but Im going to try a different brand for the next one.

Has many pockets. The fabric is both aesthetically pleasing and durable. Craftsmanship is great.

I was replacing my directors briefcase and wanted something more sleek, compact and functional this time. After having such great success with the camera bag I purchased from S-ZONE, I decided to try this briefcase. It was exactly what I needed. A well thought out use of space where I can get everything from my scripts, iPad, computer, phone, art supplies and everything else I would need for meetings all comfortably inside. The leater is smooth, flexible and strong and the color is just beautiful. The size makes it perfect for stowing under the seat when flying or traveling and I received some very nice compliments on this briefcase during my first meeting. Nice work S-ZONE. This is another winner.

The bag perfectly fit under the seat of the plane. After spending 18 days in Ireland and being used constantly, there are no signs of wear on the bag. Its been in rain, no problem. There are plenty of pockets. Typically Id use the front flap to hold my 35mm camera (it would even hold the 200 mm zoom lens). A 13 inch laptop easily fits in the inside pocket along with an umbrella, a spare jacket, a gps, portable charger, cell phone, charging cables. The back pocket was used for holding a wallet or other very important papers. I could have put in more stuff but I wanted to keep the limit under 7 kilos. There is a zippered pocket on the inside for keys (and in my case a compass, extra camera batteries, extra power cables for the electronics). Its a great piece.

Ive used this bag for my laptop 5 days a week for the last 16 months. Its still hold up great! One of the leather keepers that holds down the small strap that buckle closed came off but both buckles still work well and I hardly notice. I give it four star because it is small and I would prefer a bit more room I have a 14 laptop and carry a power supply, small notebook (paper) and a cell phone charger in it and its full.

Great buy, using as a purse for casual. fits everything -phone,tablet etc. nice pockets inside and out for hand sanitizer, small tape measure etc.

I am very particular about purses, backpacks, and work bags. I bought this for my job to carry all sorts of things my old bag couldnt. I have my beauty products, some body spray, medicine, snacks, two notebooks, my PS vita for my break, my phone, 2 things of lotions (COVID has me washing my hands a lot, kinda need it), my lady wallet (We all have big wallets or so I am told), and other random things. It fits all of that and more, while being heavy it holds up wonderfully and I love the style. Couldnt be happier!

UPDATE (Feb-6-2016) Within a few days of my earlier review, the company representative contacted me and promised to send me a brand new one. And true to his word, the bag arrived not long after! I am very happy to happy received such great customer service! The new bag is in great conditions! Very satisfied. :) (Jan-23-2016) Im in love with the feel and look of this bag. Its made quite a few heads turn when I walk into the classroom. However, after less than two weeks with it, the shoulder strap hook lining on the side of the bag has torn away almost completely. My main use for this bag is to carry my laptop, but if the strap snaps off, then its practically useless to me. I hate giving bad ratings to good products. Id like to know if theres any way the bag could be replaced. If so, Id happily give it a better rating, since I have no other complaints. But if not, then Im afraid itll have to stay like this. :/

I love everything about this bag. It holds my laptop, Kindle, iPad, a book, bottled water, sketchbook, notebook, pens... and all the smaller things I need throughout the day as well. It’s exactly the right size for what I need!
