SABRENT 2TB Rocket 4 Plus NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal Extreme Performance SSD + M.2 NVMe heatsink Combo (SB-RKT4P-PSHS-2TB)

I bought the 4TB with heatsink for my PS5 and after several months of usage it stopped working. My PS5 wasnt able to detect it anymore. I contacted the seller from Amazon and was able to get a replacement under warranty. The process was simple and relatively fast. Received a replacement SSD within a couple of weeks, installed it in my PS5 and everything is working as expected. Im 100% satisfied with the excellent customer service. I would buy from SABRENT again.

Son(22) bought this. Works like it should. The only slightly tricky part of install is sliding drive into its socket. Use a flash light. We watched YouTube video. Now Im making it seem harder than it is. I think it is best if adult installs this drive or for sure be there to assist.

A perfect fit for a PS5, the included heatsink replaces the OEM SSD panel and fits tightly against the SSD with an included thermal adhesive pad. Ran a couple of reformatting tests on my PS5 and only managed to get a speed of 5,500 to 5,700. While this isnt as high as the advertised 6,850, Im sure it isnt too much of a huge deal. The game loading time difference is probably within a second or two between those speeds. This SSD even has the same high-end PHISON E18 controller that is found in the Seagate Firecuda 530. Overall, happy with this SSD and will probably never end up wearing out the TBW of 1,400 that the 2TB SSD has.

No me agradó el producto, seguí todas las instrucciones para instalarlo y después de 2 meses de uso, se me sobrecalentó y ahora cada vez que tiene mi play 5, esta SSD, esta se reinicia, ahora mismo estaba jugando Returnal, dicho juego estaba instalado en mi SSD y se me reinició la consola, tuve que entrar en el modo seguro para entrar de nuevo a la play y poder pasar el juego al almacenamiento de la consola y no perderlo, quiera ayuda para arreglarla, ya que no vivo en los EEUU para reclamar por la garantía. Espero la ayuda de alguien que haya pasado con este problema. Y me quiera ayudar. Gracias

First time removing the covers on my PS5 and installing anything like this into a consol. Super easy to install, just needed a screwdriver to remove the original cover but other than that, works great. Had to format it to my ps5 which I figured I would have to do.

I have the 1Tb. I put this in within 15 mins for my first time opening my ps5. Super quick and easy install and the read speeds for me when I put it in was 5,588Mbs. I just transferred 520 Gb of data from my main hard drive to the M.2 in 9:44 mins and that’s the fastest I have ever seen anything transfer that much data in that quick of time. So love the cover plate and heat sink attachment that came with this purchase. It was a perfect fit. I highly recommend it.

i’m new to gaming but i quickly ran out of space on my ps5 so i needed to upgrade my memory. the reviews are correct it’s easy to install and come with all the tools you need.

Easy to install. The hardest part is taking off PS5 cover.

The others place the metal cover back over the Ssd keeping the heat inside. This is working awesome and being exposed to the airflow is noticeably cooler. Wasn’t my first choice but definitely won me over based on functional design.
