The ssd is very easy and quick to install. The only issue I had was the screwdriver that it came with was to small and I had to get a different screwdriver, if it wasnt for that I would give this 5 stars.

Works great, super easy to install. Able to put all my ps4 games local to my system, definitely worth it.

I have no complaints whatsoever with this product. I bought it specifically for my PS5 and wS grateful that it comes with very easy to follow instructions on how to install it. It isnt the cheapest additional memory product, but certainly seems well made and high quality. It worked immediately after installation and I havent had any issues at all since I bought it.

So I bought my 1st PS5 earlier this month, model 12xx and I got this at 1TB with heatsink cover. Took me longer to install cuz my first time trying to take off the PS5 cover, and it does go in easily. However, I just noticed watching install videos(after I already put in mine), the little spacer on my PS5 does not go in to the PCB board like on all the videos, mine is different, it sits on top of all the holes on the PCB, so as soon as I unscrew it there is no way it stays in place by itself. What I did was stick the little screw driver through the spacer and into the PCB hole, slide the SSD in slot, use the screw driver then to pry/nudge the SSD into the slot, very gently, cuz fat fingers, again, gently take out the screw driver so the spacer stays in place to align screw. Put the rest together, formatted through PS5 1 time, showing 65xx mb/s and 1.02TBs free space.

So I bought the 2tb capacity version and when I installed it into my PS5 it was reading 5,500mbs speeds and after about 5 formats it finally showed my 6,600mbs speed that I was promised. I read some people talk about updating the ssd using a computer but I don’t have a pc to do that so I just kept formatting till I got the speed I was promised. Hope this helps some of you who buy this and don’t get the speeds it showed be showing.

Be sure to download and install the full 1 gig firmware update from PlayStation website. If the PS5 doesn’t see your thumb drive, try using a different one. It must be a 2 gig thumb drive. Buy this SSD because it comes with a heat sink that fits in the ps5.

The main reason I got this one was because not only did it already come with a heart sink, the heat sink served a dual purpose of also being the bay cover. Technically making it a more effective cooler than just a basic heat sink. The thing is I was stuck at a crossroads which the 1 TB version was not enough for all the games I intend to put on it but for the price of the 2 TB version, I could buy a 2nd PS5. Something to think about if you plan to put a lot of games on it.

i’m new to gaming but i quickly ran out of space on my ps5 so i needed to upgrade my memory. the reviews are correct it’s easy to install and come with all the tools you need.

No me agradó el producto, seguí todas las instrucciones para instalarlo y después de 2 meses de uso, se me sobrecalentó y ahora cada vez que tiene mi play 5, esta SSD, esta se reinicia, ahora mismo estaba jugando Returnal, dicho juego estaba instalado en mi SSD y se me reinició la consola, tuve que entrar en el modo seguro para entrar de nuevo a la play y poder pasar el juego al almacenamiento de la consola y no perderlo, quiera ayuda para arreglarla, ya que no vivo en los EEUU para reclamar por la garantía. Espero la ayuda de alguien que haya pasado con este problema. Y me quiera ayudar. Gracias

We have four PS5 systems and all of them have the Sabrent Rocket 4 1TB M.2 drive and heatsink. It only takes a minute to install the drive into the PS5 using the small screwdriver that is included in the packaging. All of the drives work great and are very fast. Each drive tests above 6000 MB/s which is bonkers. If you are running out of storage space (and I know you are or you wouldnt be here) get this, you will not regret it.
