The others place the metal cover back over the Ssd keeping the heat inside. This is working awesome and being exposed to the airflow is noticeably cooler. Wasn’t my first choice but definitely won me over based on functional design.

Finally decided to pick this up as it went on sale and got the 2tb with the sabrent heatsink for a good price. Installation to formating then to transfering games was all straight forward and fast. Games noticeably boot up and load way faster than compared to onboard storage. Once the new PS+ tiers come out soon Ill have plenty of storage space to try out new games. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend you get this drive and heatsink for your PS5. Also dont forget to register the warranty for the 5 year coverage!

This is a great product.i was running low on storage on my ps5.the ps5 only allows 667 gb of free space which is really nothing.so I see the sabrent 2tb on sale for 329.99 and I heard nothing but good things on this item.got it in a day or 2 later and the installation process was a breeze.turn back on the ps5 asked to format it and their I go 2 tb now on my ps5,I couldnt be any happier.

I bought the 4TB with heatsink for my PS5 and after several months of usage it stopped working. My PS5 wasnt able to detect it anymore. I contacted the seller from Amazon and was able to get a replacement under warranty. The process was simple and relatively fast. Received a replacement SSD within a couple of weeks, installed it in my PS5 and everything is working as expected. Im 100% satisfied with the excellent customer service. Been looking for a internal ssd for the PS5 and did some research on different types of ssds and finally went with the Sabrent ssd. Its really easy to install you dont need to be tech savvy. Decided the 2tb was worth the extra money and more storage. So far its working good and the speed is also good.

Even though this isnt the fastest on the market available for PS5, its easily the best and most affordable as it not only comes with the heatsink, but the heatsink also becomes the panel door as well. You cant get easier than that. The whole process took me about 10 minutes...if that...to install. The PS5 recognized it right away, formatted it, and was ready to use it. I simply had to go into the settings and direct new PS5 downloads to go to it instead. I then loaded Spiderman onto it and then compared it to the internal drive that came pre-installed by moving it there, and honestly, I cant tell the difference. It seems just as fast as the pre-installed one.

Was super easy to install on my PS5. PS5 games run just as fast off this drive as the internal drive, and you can move massive files between drives in minutes. Ive also had no issues with overheating. At the time I bought it this was one of the cheapest PS5-compatible drives that came with a heatsink, and while it still wasnt cheap you definitely need the extra storage if you play a significant number of games.

Easy to install. The hardest part is taking off PS5 cover.
