SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

Love this thing its a brilliant design for the PS5

Loved the entire concept behind this heatsink and cover since I first heard about it a few months ago and have been chomping at the bit for months to get one until the preorders on amazon finally went up in September!

Should come with a screw to install to motherboard

Doesnt hit Sonys recommended speed but less than half the price of a recommended gen 4 NVMe drive for the PS5. PS5 formatted it no problem only gave one short message saying it was slower than recommended. Ive just left my speed critical online games (Apex/Overwatch etc...) on internal storage and put offline and PS4 titles on the drive.

So I been waiting for the ps5 update to allow me to buy the right ssd at the time they were 400$ for a 1Tb . I waiting cause I need 2 TB I have alot of games , so I did my research and this ssd was on par and in some cases faster than western digital, it was definitely cheaper. 300 bucks and Im impressed with the speed it only took 5 mins to transfer 4 games . Definitely a must buy for ps5 and PC gamers alike, its very simple to set up

Nice in that it replaces the top cover and fits the slot perfectly to allow air flow, that works with the Sony air flow system. As someone else pointed out depending on the length of the SSD you have the thermal pad on the bottom of the heat stick might not be long enough and you would need a different thermal pad.

Am transferring the ps5 games i had stored on a mechanical drive as i write. 1Gb/s over sonys required spec according to benchmark.
