This drive is super fast but its honestly not near as fast as claims make. I have a brand new dark hero motherboard, 128gb gskill ram, motherboard is stock configuration but some changes, (nothing to drives or slots) and this performs out of the box on Ubuntu 22.04 as 5.1gbps reads and 3gbps writes without tweaking the disk on perf tests ran multiple times. People complain about it not lasting long because of wear. I would have done much more research if I had read more carefully in the reviews. Many motherboards these days come with multiple nvme slots, so its best to get two smaller drives and raid 0 them (striped) for much better performance. Overall impressed with the drive but the numbers dont yet add up for me. maybe someone did better tweaking.

Installed flawlessly, no over heating

This heatsink is true to its word: simple to install!! I was debating between the Sabrent or ElecGear heat sink but I choose the Sabrent in the end. Good price and like the built. A heat sink is designed to dissipate heat. Whether you want to get all technical about specs, maybe the ElecGear heat sink is for you. In the end, it’s about personal preference.

Wanted to get the elecgear but I heard sometimes you will receive their heatsink and there wont be a copper heat pipe in the middle so I opted opted Ohio t this and couldnt be happier.
