Works great in the ps5 was a pain trying to find a heat sink that would fit in the console though. Still great value for this drive and very fast.

The heatsink and pad did not touch the SSD it used (it is double sided). Fortunately I had some thicker thermal pad at hand. It would be better to give people more options.

I would highly recommend not getting the 1TB version of this drive. Just over 10TB written and the drive is already down to 93% health. Sabrent customer service isnt the greatest and they will do everything possible to avoid an RMA. Ive never had a drive degrade this quickly before. The rated speeds have also taken a nose dive and will probably need a low-level format. I have Samsung drives with 100TB written to them and half a decade in service and they are still at 100% health. If you want a Sabrent drive, go for the 2TB model, this one seems to have held up.

o produto resfriou o PS5 de uma maneira geral, jogos no SSD, tanto de ps4 quanto de ps5 simplesmente não esquenta mais!! fico no máximo morno depois de horas. Produto obrigatório pra quem quer manter a vida útil do console!

Bought it in March 21 and used it. Was quite pleased with its performance at first. However recently it refused to be detected and caused problems to the rest of the system. Turns out the controller has failed as Windows Event Viewer kept having a controller error and the drive will very rarely be detected in Windows. Luckily data is still intact but quite disappointed with the reliability.

Edit- I had a few issues, but this seller messaged me back in a timely manner, and helped me get everything straight in a timely manner. I hope anyone purchasing doesnt have any problems, but sometimes, thats the way it goes. What really helped out is having someone you can work with to get it straight, and if youre considering purchasing one of these, I believe you found the right place to get it. Thank you
