Greater than one weekGreat drive, ran games quickly got nearly specified speeds for read and write. was quite pleased with the drive. Until today. 1 year and 3 months after getting the drive. (very little writes to it) Drive completely failed and stopped working. pulled drive and installed it in another system and nothing. Will not detect in bios or in windows. Quite disappointed in it. Considering that I didnt do a lot of writes to the drive to maintain longevity.

25-11-2024Even thought the specifications say it reads 3000 MB/s and 2000 MB/s my tests show it comes very close to that compared to others Ive tested with specs that stated faster reads and writes (3500/3000). I used the AJA and Blackmagic to test sequential reading and writing speed. In order to these fasts speeds I used a Wavlink Thunderdrive II with a thunderbolt 3 connection. When I used a Sabrent T3 tool-free enclosure I got about 1250 write and 1400 read which is still fast. Other SSDs claiming faster speed were the Green 2 TB Western Digital and ADATA 1 TB SSD NMVE.

> 3 dayIve got three of these now. Also have tried Samsung Evo Plus and Pro, this is the equivalent but runs cooler. Pro is faster for continuous random writes, but Sabrent Rocket Q is faster in every other category, so except for DB work Sabrent wins. For small short I/O it wins by a lot, for large, long transfers (video 2GB and larger) it starts to stutter as does the Samsung. The SK hynix Gold is also excellent for the price (used 1TB version waiting to try new 2TB version, but it priced higher than Sabrent/TB currently).

27-11-2024This is the first nvme that i bought on my first PC. I used a cloning program to transfer my ssd disk into the new nvme, it worked flawlessly.i don’t know if every nvme comes packaged this way, but the packaging is very nice and gives a nice presentation. Overall speed has been great, have had no problems playing games or booting windows. Windows now boots faster and the ssd that i had is now being used as a secondary storage. Note: I did not use any of sabrent apps to clone my disk

> 3 dayI got this cause I wanted a fast ssd I could rely on to boot Windows 10 but also decent capacity for the msot demanding applications so the 1TB version was the right one for me. The speed and quality so far is as good as a Samsung Evo ssd those are considered among the best but this brand is performs just as good really, while being cheaper and the ssd comes packed in a fancy little metal case. I;d recommend this ssd for anyone building their PC or upgrading their storage and boot drive, if the high capacity models seem to expensive I;d suggest getting a lower capacity one you can afford what you want is to boot Windows from it, then get a cheap 2 TB or greater jard drive for storing games and media. Definitely would order this again for future builds.

Greater than one weekGood NVME for the price, vast improvement over HHD. Plug in and go.

> 3 dayThis was a learning curve for me since my motherboard is PCIe 2.0. After I received the drive I did a lot of research and bought and adapter card. Once installed it works perfectly as 1TB internal storage. Now that Im up to speed on this technology I might even build a newer computer with a state of the art motherboard that natively will support this. The packaging of the drive was about the best Ive seen. Fast ship and as advertised.

> 3 dayFrom the beginning I was questioning the difference between the Black variant of Sabrent Rocket with the white one. Because of this I went to the questions made by customers on Amazon and found that there were some people asking the same thing. The official answer of SABRENT was that they both were mainly the same, BUT the White one had just a little slower writing speeds, for which I did not care at all because I was going to use it with a USB 3.2 enclosure which does work with those speeds. So I chose to buy this product because it was cheaper than the Black Sabrent Rocket. I assumed there was no other BIG difference between them both as Sabrents official answer was clear... Im quoting Sabrents answer to this question: The main differences include the Rocket Q having a custom controller, based on 3D QLC NAND Flash, and speeds can reach up to 3200 MB/s (Read) and 2000 MB/s (Write) when using a PCIe 3.0x4 slot. SB-ROCKET-1TB is based on 3D TLC NAND Flash, and speeds can reach up to 3400 MB/s (Read) and 3000 MB/s (Write) when using a PCIe 3.0x4 slot. Sabrent support. After buying this product and having it delivered at my hotel (I live outside the US) I ended up watching a video in youtube about QLC having a significant MUCH SLOWER speed than TLC and thats not all... The worst thing is this, QLC(WHITE SABRENT ROCKET) has a MUCH SHORTER lifespan than TLC(BLACK SABRENT ROCKET) and thats why I went to the internet again to see what was this all about, I ended up finding that White sabrent rocket had a life span of 260 TBW. and the Black one having a lifespan of **1,665 TBW**. yes you are reading right... MORE THAN 6 times the lifespan of the white one!!!! I think this lack of information on the published item on amazon is misleading because its decision making one... for only $20 more I couldve got a much faster and reliable SSD. Now I wont be able to return this because I live in South America and I would really appreciate a solution to this... Im really disappointed with this purchase, rating it 1 star... Hope sabrent support could contact me any time soon.

> 3 dayThis has been a great company to deal with and they stand behind their products. The performance of this SSD has been spot on with specifications. I had an issue with a Dell mobile precision 7750 and BSOD failures during SupportAssist diagnostics, but I was able to figure out a solution. It turns out that the RAID mode on the Dell Mobile Precision computers does not support 2TB SSDs, as confirmed by Dell. I was not able to determine if it is a hardware or driver issue. Everything started working reliably by going into the BIOS and switching from RAID to AHCI mode. You will need to reboot windows into safe mode to allow the drivers to reconfigure. I verified this with all my 2TB SSD cards and the 2 Dell notebooks I have.
