Saeco Decalcifier for Espresso Coffee Machines, 250 ml, Pack of 3

I have a Philipps saeco Esppreso machine that I absolutely love! I dont think they even make this model anymore. Being able to find the right descaler makes it so that I can keep it clean and running like a champ. Coffee is very important to my daily functionality. The price is great and delivery was fast.

I finally ran a decalcify cycle in our Saeco Incanto which is much needed. No complaints here, good product!

I have a Saeco superautomatica espresso machine that I inherited when my then employer moved in early 2014. Its been sitting on my kitchen counter under somewhat light use (over its whole time with me, probably averaging about a single shot per day). It was never the only form of coffee in the office and was purchased around 2004, but spent about two years in storage at some point before I took it. It probably got used 5-6 times a day when it was out at the office. Over the past two or so years, the machine had taken longer and longer to pull a shot. I had cleaned the insides extensively, but the whole boiler system is closed so it never got touched. I wasnt familiar with decalcifying these machines and Im certain that if it ever happened in the office, it was in the first year or two we had it. After reading up on it when the machine would usually fail to successfully pull a shot and seemed to be struggling to get water through, I bought this solution. It took some effort of turning it on and off repeatedly to get the solution into the tank, but I was able to do it. I followed the instructions for the first round, but let the second round sit for as long as the first round too. The machine seemed to be pumping easily at that point, so I let it go just like the instructions say with brief sits until the tank is empty. I flushed the machine, and its pumping better than I ever remember it pumping and pulls shots faster than I think it did around 2010 when I first started using it. From now on, Ill use this solution in it every few months! Cant believe it saved the machine - I had almost purchased its replacement!

We have used the Phillips Saeco decalcifier solution to keep our Saeco Vienna Plus automatic espresso machine running for over 15 years. There are other brands out but have not tried them. I usually decalcify every quarter and the only issue I had with my machine was the motor burning out. I changed it out and inspected all the lines and there had not been any major calcium buildup so I would say that this stuff works great.

Kind of expense for the cleaner.
