I bought these to give one to my daughter, one each to my three grandchildren and one for myself. The sound emitted is ear deafening and will attract attention when needed. I always check that my grandchildren have it with them and not be afraid to pull the loop when needed. You can also take of the long loop as my granddaughter did not want a friend to pulling it by mistake. The tab is just as easy to pull without the loop. I feel a little safer knowing they and I have this device.

These little things are very loud, as you should expect. The LEDs are probably the best indicator for the battery levels, the brighter it is the better. They arent the brightest light but they will work for a little light in most situations. The pull-cord doesnt seem like it will accidentally be set off easily, in most situations. I saw in the comments someone mention looping the pull-cord in the hook thats used to attach it. That seemingly works, and is easier than winding it through the ring the hook is attached to. I think either way its attached will work. I pictured one of each way of attaching the pull-cord for convenience. Heres to hoping they never need them. When I first got these, I checked each one to make sure they worked before handing them out. One of the three seemed as the batteries were almost depleted, the LED barely lit up. I contacted the seller to see if they wanted the whole package of three, or just send back the one. I would have been fine if they sent batteries honestly, but they told me to keep them and they are sending another package of three, as a replacement.

It was louder then the ones for adults.

I purchased these for my nieces who all go to college and work part time jobs. They thought they were cute and they do draw attention. Cords are easy to pull but not too loose you worry about them falling out and making an unwanted scene.

I got a set of 5 thinking I can give some of them to my friends and family as a gift and was so excited to receive them. But as soon as I opened one of them, I saw it didn’t work. I thought maybe I wasn’t doing it right. So watched videos, read the instructions again, tried the other ones in the package. But none of them worked. I will get a replacement. I hope the new set works. Disappointed.

I love this little alarm. Its cute, easy to use, and VERY LOUD, which is what I wanted. Pro tip: Dont test it in your car with all the windows rolled up lol.

If you are in a crowded room, someone mught hear it but if you are out by yourself or a distance away from people, they wont hear it. Bo one but you and your attaker will hear it.
