> 3 dayMe and my son removed ceramic tile and installed wood laminate floors and of course I had a serious angled wall to deal with. Full disclosure it was our FIRST time doing this. We dreaded the angled wall but this tool was accurate, easy to read, easy to use and we installed the tile like pro’s. I got a lot of tools to make this install seamless and this tool was a life saver.

> 3 dayI tried a lower priced protractor and found it useless. Bought this one and had real success. Nice tight miters in oak baseboard and shoe molding. Only difficulty is with corners that are very close to installed door casing. Had to guesstimate a bit in that situation.

> 3 dayI wish I would have bought this tool sooner to cut my baseboard molding. The tool is very easy to use and makes my cuts look very professional for a DIY remodeler.

> 3 dayIf you are doing moulding or other projects where you have to find an angle quickly and easily, this is a great time-saver. Aluminium extrusion provides long-lasting durability. Reading and using it are both easy.

Greater than one weekFirst, the active arm is not positively coupled with the inner scale. The result is, on the unit I got, about 3 degrees of movement of the active arm before the inner scale starts to move. Second, the scale is silkscreened and the markings are, for my eye, way too thick. Returning.

Greater than one weekIf you only use this for your miter saw, you shouldnt have any problem. But if you want to just measure an angle there is no readout for this. This device tells you what setting you need for the miter saw and if you use the table, for crown molding as well, but it would have been simple to put an angle readout on the back side. That way, you can readout the angle directly, rather than using the zero angle on the front and counting forwards or backwards. Or simply include the protractor scale as a third option on the front.
