> 3 dayThe plastic nib tip is a joy to work with when I sketch over line drawings. It would make a good ballpoint pen, but that isnt what I got it for. It is for art. The PN tip never wears out. The ink will be long gone before the tip fails you. Definitely a good buy, and I would say a pack of 3 is minimum. I know this will not be a 1-time purchase. A beginner may want to go with the softer tip, but it takes little practice to be fully comfortable with the PN tip.

> 3 dayThese as great for beginners who are heavy-handed since the plastic nib is much sturdier that the regular Micron nibs.

Greater than one weekI used to use the felt tip 005 micron as my exclusive Bible journalling pen but the tip kept dying out on me because of the felt tips wear and tear over time. Eventually, the tip would get ground down to nothing and Id have to toss the pen even though it had a ton of ink left. Enter this plastic nib pen. The tip never grinds down, and the only downside is that the tip is slightly larger than my normal 005 tip. Who cares! I can now experience the satisfaction of using a pen till it runs out of ink.

> 3 dayI purchased these pens to use for archiving old family photographs. Thankfully, I tested on the back of a duplicate photo first. The ink is not fast drying. It left smudge marks 30 minutes after application. I left the photo out overnight, and the ink from the night before still smudged the next morning. For testing purposes, I tried a fine point permanent marker, and that dried nearly instantly on the same photograph. I wont be using the Sakura pens for my archiving project. The search continues!
