> 3 dayI bought these to make an anniversary gift-- I had purchased small wooden hearts and wanted to write a message on each one. Because the hearts were small, I wanted a very fine point. The good news is that these do not bleed, smudge, or run in any way. On paper, they create an absolutely flawless line. On the wood, they were not awful, but they kind of hung up in the grain of the wood (which was actually very smooth) and made for some small flaws in the writing and sketches. Theyre really nice if you need something super fine, but in hindsight I wish Id have gone up just one size, because with a line this thin its nearly impossible to disguise imperfections, and the pen tip does hang up very easily in the texture of a surface.

> 3 dayThe pens can be used for writing, but I like them for art. They don’t leak ink like some pens do. I outline cartoons or draw detail with them. They last a long, long time!

> 3 dayThese were used for a quote quilt, and they work beautifully. They are permanent on fabric and do not seep or bleed.

> 3 dayFavorite pens for writing/journaling. Favorite size. Dont bleed. Smooth writhing. Dont smudge. I have a bit of a pen fetish and have settled on these Microns as my #1 favorite. The 02 is also my favorite size...03 being second. I know most folks use these for drawing, but if you journal, write letters, mark in your bible or books...give these a whirl. Youll be glad you did. EDIT 4/20/16: knocked off a star as my 2nd pen, an 02, leaked and I had to trash it. Just bought these a month ago, too. For what its worth, I went to their website as well as used Google to check up on this issue. Apparently, its not terribly uncommon. Here is what their website said A leak near the nib holder or ink wick could be caused by dropping, inadvertently shaking, or accidentlly applying centrifugal force to the pen by spinning it in your hand. I am not aware of my doing any of those things...I keep it attached with a loop, to my journal or in my purse. In any event, I will now keep these at home, and will likely stop taking them in my purse or car as I am afraid they will leak. First one started leaking on a road trip and we went from about 500 ft above sea level to as much as 5000 ft above sea level. At the higher elevation is where I discovered the pen had leaked into the cap. 2nd one was while I was sitting at a restaurant, and pulled out my notebook to make a list. I still love the pens, but am a bit skeptical about their durability. Trust me, Im not a pen twirler, nor do I spin my pens. As a pen that will sit on your desk, its 5 stars and likely wont leak. Not sure I recommend as a pen for taking with you on your pocket or purse, which isnt really the intent anyway.

> 3 dayThe pens are archival ink and great to write in margins of books - especially the paper thin pages of a Bible - also great to use on sketch-pad paper when writing stories and making illustrations for the grandkids - a legacy book... perfect every time!

> 3 dayAlthough I like the other micron pens, their 0.03 tips do not last. Even though I make a very conscious effort to apply less pressure while drawing, the tips wear out in a couple days. Also, many of these Micron pens are often dry and scratchy to use. The 0.03 Copic pens are superior to these.

Greater than one weekPerfect precision art pen, doesn’t bleed on or through the paper, great for the hard to get areas in artwork, also good for arciturual and circuit board drawing.
