Bought the SALI 50 Pack 4 Inch Cutting Wheels. They are only 100mm diameter and not 4-inch. 100mm=3.94 inches so they are about 1/16-inch undersize. More importantly, they are too thin. The actual thickness is 1.0mm, slightly less than the 1/24 inch advertised. They are so thin that they do not tighten in my Makita, a problem which I solve by adding a worn-out second blade to increase the thickness at the arbor. And because they are so thin, they shred too easily if the blade is twisted while being used. The brand I purchased earlier was 1.2mm thick that worked fine. The difference doesnt sound like much but 1.2mm is theoretically 44% stronger in bending compared to 1.0mm.

Good value, but seem to chip off and break a little easier than other cutoff wheels Ive used.

Even my black hawks need to be balanced when starting a new wheel, so I didnt even check for that, since its automatic when you touch the work. They are slightly thicker at 1.2 mm, but thats what I wanted for cutting sections of T-posts, to hang on my 4x4 fence posts, to tie-on some barbed wire. I cant say enough about the low cost, for such repetitious cutting of many T-post sections. Leaves more money for rising fuel costs!

The first thing to say is that this cutting wheels is packed in a plastic box, so it looks neat and easy to carry. Secondly, each can be used about 30 times, which should be considered normal. Anyway, it did what I needed for the job, and Im happy with it.

I just use one of these cut off wheels yesterday on a project cutting through a bedframe. Worked very well and sliced straight through the steel tubing with no issues at all. Did not show a ton of wear and tear afterwards, however it was a small project. Held up well and got the job done. No complaints. Glad to have them.

i have only gone through 2 of these wheels but i am very impressed in how long they last and how well they cut. They are thinner but that works better in my cordless grinder. I would rate they even better that Harbor Freights HERCULES brand - which I did notice lasted longer than their Bauer or Warrior brands. I have used them mostly for cutting of stainless sheet but have also used them a fair amount for cutting off nuts and bolts. I even used these for a little face grinding stainless rivets off - which I know they werent designed for but they even held up to that abuse. I also like the container they come in that will allow them to be sealed back up until I need another. I would definitely but these again when I ever need more.

Good value for the money. I havent noticed the difference between higher price cutting wheels and these.

Every time I buy cut off wheels in bulk, I end up losing a few. These come packaged in what looks like an old CD ROM container, which is super convenient. The wheels themselves work very well, where a more precise cut is required. They are only 3/64 wide, so they are going to fail more frequently than the thicker models. Its a tradeoff between clean, precise cuts or brute strength. I have been suing these with my cordless grinder to trim off some exposed bolt ends on my dock and they have proven every bit as good as the brand names wheels they have replaced.
