These are solid brass and should hold up well over the years. They are a generous 11/4 inches across. Two types of screws are included. The shorter screws will probably be what you need. But, if the cabinet door is made of extra thick material, there are longer screws that have spaces between the threads to let you customize the best length to work with your door. You would simply saw thru the screw at one of those spaces to make it the proper length. It would be best for you to file the sawed edges so that when you put the knob on the door, the thread as will screw into the knob easily.

Stunning Solid Knobs! I couldnt be happier. I was trying to match some vintage brass knobs and thought these would be close. They are identical to my old brass knobs and simply gorgeous. These cabinet handles look so great! They were crazy easy to install and have good sturdiness once put on. The brushed gold look is really lovely and is a great finish to match my new faucet. I would recommend these cabinet pulls to others and I’d absolutely get them again.
