Samsonite Winfield 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels (Artic Pink, 2-Piece Set (20/28))

The only erk is that the small one is really small. You can barely fit many things in there. It does the trick and the design and colour are very elegant.

This is so much easier to steer than my previous Samsonite luggage. My arm would get tired as my other luggage didn’t seem to glide like this does. It’s also beautiful!! I’m so happy with the color I chose.

Outer shell not firm or hard like my old set.

These suitcases look great and are very durable, but the smooth glossy surface scratches easily. After just ONE trip, the suitcases have scratches all over them. I have another Samsonite suitcase with a textured case and wish I could go back and order a set with the textured finish instead. Case aside, they hold a ton and the zippered compartment on one side and the straps on the other keep everything from sliding around. The wheels roll nicely, the handle slides up and down smoothly, and the lock for the zipper is easily set and zippers click in with little effort. This is would be the perfect suitcase if it just didn’t scratch so easily.

The carry-on is NOT EXPANDABLE! At this price it should be!

The luggage comes with a plastic film on most of the surface, but there were scratches and scuffs already on the large bag in the uncovered portions right out of the box. If there are marks showing while stored in a box, I can only imagine what the bag will look like once it goes through a couple of airports. I knew that heavily scratched-up luggage would bother my perfectionist side, so I returned it for a different Samsonite style that looks like it wont show the damage as much. The 28-inch bag was also way too big for this petite female and I read that if you fill it, it will cost more due to weight limits. Got a 24/20 inch set.

Thus luggage is so pretty! I absolutely love the light blue. Its not as metallic looking in person, but its got a nice glimmer to it. Its such lovely looking luggage I was almost sad to use it because I didnt want to see it scratched. But its hard case luggage, its going to scratch a little. You cant really see any blemishes after my trip though and we did check bags where it got tossed around on Vans and trucks and carts. I think the light color also helps hide any blemishes it may sustain. I got the two piece set (shown here is the carry on size) and no disappointment. My husband has the same set in black/grey and its been on multiple vacations and thus far stood the test of time without getting dented or broken. Its sturdy enough to still be lightweight and its got plenty of room. It glides along well and moves around smoothly. The larger case is expandable. The carry on is not so just FYI. But I packed for an entire 8 night cruise in my two bags and I took SO much stuff. I look forward to many many trips ahead with my pretty blue suitcases!
