> 24 hourUsed these to upgrade the memory in an old Toshiba laptop to the maximum the machine could use. They snapped right in and the machine recognized them with no problem. Extremely easy upgrade.

> 24 hourAppears to be a fully Samsung module. Reliable, super stable. Dont waste money on fancy RAM. It wont be any faster if the bios doesnt support or if you dont know how to manually change the settings. Even then, there isnt much if any difference anyway. Would buy these always.

> 24 hourI have a Synology NAS (1019+) that comes with 8 GB of RAM, but it can do so many things, running out of memory was a constant problem. Then I read online, it was not only possible, but trivial, to upgrade the RAM in this NAS, although it is not officially supported by Synology. I also read that not every piece of RAM works, so I started with this because, at least at the time I bought it, it was the least expensive, especially from a reputable manufacturer. Long story short, worked perfectly in the NAS, which was perfectly happy, and while Synology, the company, noticed that I had upgraded the RAM, and gave me the finger wag about the unsupported upgrade, they were perfectly happy to help me with everything else, so clearly this is not a deal-breaker.
