After installing the RAMM, I had a BSOD with hours. Over a couple of weeks, I decided to replace this ramm stick. Far too many BSODs to contend with and became very annoying to do any computer work.

The memory is easy to install as normal. Works like a charm for my old notebook.

The RAM modul is perfect, exactly what I needed. Tested with Memtest86 and everything is OK.

Samsung makes good quality RAM.

Worked fine for couple weeks, until today I got a blue screen of death, with memory error message, bummer, reboot, and so far look ok, hope don’t see that blue screen again

My goal was to accomplish two things (1) go from 16GB to 32GB (2) go from single-channel to double-channel

This was purchased as a second chip for a Dell Inspiron 5770. It is the exact same chip as the original chip that shipped with the laptop so you cant go wrong.

I used this to increase my laptops memory from 4gb to 16. What a difference! Couldnt be happier.
