> 24 hourTheres not a whole lot I can say about an internal storage device. All of them perform the same basic functions -- storing data. I ended up with two 500GB 970 EVOs when I upgraded my PC to an i9-9900k. I bought the two drives when they were on sale for $120 each (a very short lived sale). Since they were MUCH cheaper than the 1TB EVO 970 (and were actually available at the time without a 7 day shipping delay) I decided to get two and applied some old fashioned Raid 0 on them to create a 1TB volume. Theres not much to say other than going Raid 0 worked, and its faster than any SATA SSD I ever had. I noticed something interesting when I did go Raid 0 with these drives. With just a single drive, I would get a READ: 3500 / WRITE: 1700. However in Raid 0 I am getting READ: 3280 / WRITE: 3430 on average. My read dropped a bit (not that noticeable) and my write nearly doubled (very noticeable). I cant say if these numbers are good or bad since I never did any Raid setups before, but the fact is this setup is working for me and its working really well. These drives look nice, were priced nice, were easy to install, and the performance is excellent. Would recommend at this time.
