SAMSUNG 860 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E250E)

I purchased this item thinking it was an Amazon provided product. The seller actually provided a Korean unit that is not valid in the US. One of the drives has failed and I am unable to get it serviced because it is a grey market product. Buyer beware!!

The /AM indicates a retail American market product which Samsung will honor the warranty on. This one, with the designate E at the end of the product number, indicates an item sold in bulk to a system builder and not meant to be resold alone. I replaced my aging 500G hard drive with this 250G Solid State Drive. I downloaded Samsugs Data Migration software and purchased a USB to adapter cable to performed the migration. It was simple and took 30 minutes to migrate 114G of data. The laptop boots a lot faster and data transfers faster also. I am well satisfied with this purchase.

I would always recommend Samsung SSDs and this one is no different. The quality is great as well as is the design. This is a very fast SATA SSD and a good value for the money. There are cheaper SSDs out there but they don’t beat the Samsung quality

Popped this in a few months ago and have no complaints. So far has stood up to all Linux distro-hopping Ive done.

Not complains about this Hard drive, always working great and my laptop work smoothly.

With the downloaded software from Samsung, it made the SSD a bootable copy of my old HDD and was very simple to use.
