Best ssd hands down. Easy to install on motherboard. Quick YouTube video will show you what to do. It’s a night and day difference from a mechanical drive so long the days of doing chores around the house before your pc even boots up all the way.

This SSD chip works great! Holds all of my steam library and still has room for more.

Installed in HP OMEN 17-cb0040nr on the second NVMe slot. Installation is a snap with M.2, seat it correctly in the slot, push it down to the mounting point and install the heat sink and screw.

The really annoying thing is you spend literally $300 on this item and they fail to include the teeny tiny specific screw needed for installation. Im having to search everywhere for a screw now to install the thing. If youre replacing a hard drive this is fine if youre adding another hard drive please know samsung doesnt take a moment to include a very cheap but not easy to get a hold of item. I didnt realize this was necessary until the computer already was entirely taken down.

Drive arrived fine, and it works. The only problem is it does not come with screws. 2 stars because the drive itself is fine, but having to order screws separately is just plain stupid.

This storage drive has made my already fast Dell XPS 15, feel even faster. It is truly remarkable how fast these drives are and youll experience it in real world applications (boot-up, startup programs running on the fly, opening a program, etc) everything just hauls ass. It really is worth it, if youre able to, then get it.
