This is a great deal to add more memory to a cellphone. I just purchased a Moto G Power cell phone and wanted to increase the memory from its current 64GB of internal memory. The memory card is installed in the cell phone using the removable slide...this slide also contains the phones SIM card. (The Moto G Power can have memory installed as high as 512GB.) You could probably add memory using an external USB/Micro SDXC cable too. I found out that you can save videos to the 64GB internal memory as well as straight to the additional 256GB SDXC memory I just installed. There is a 4GB memory file limit as it records but you can set the software to automatically continue recording video before the 4GB limit is reached...another new file is generated (each 4GB or less). My card is formatted as exFAT too but still generates the 4GB (or less) files...wish it was one continuous file...think there will be miniscule breaks in the audio. Anyway, hope the info here helps you to make your decision in your purchase.

This is my second time buy. The first time I bought this for a Sony A7 III camera, and this time for the Switch. As great as always.

The chips is absolutely worth the money. The only complaint that is that its storage says 256 GB, but like all chips, its really 220-235 for me. The addition of a simcard converter is a great bang for buck.
