Samsung Electronics SM-T590NZKAXAR Galaxy Tab A, 10.5, Black

This unit is awesome. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Considerably less than the models from the fruit vendor, but does everything I would like. I am not a big gamer, nor artist so having a stylus was not what I needed. I wanted this for streaming live events or movies, doing email, browsing the web, and reading the news. The 4 speaker sound and picture quality is exceptional, navigation and performance is great. I bought a magnetic keyboard and case for it from Fintie and they complement it nicely.

Let me start this review to say that I really did like this tablet and I would have given it a five star rating as long as the primary function I wanted this tablet to perform worked correctly, to play downloaded movies on the go. Every time I tried to play a downloaded movie whether in Google Play Movies or Vudu the playback would skip every 4-7 minutes or so. This is not acceptable as I wanted this tablet to mainly be used to watch these downloaded movies. If I watched the movie connected to the internet, there was no skipping.

I am not surprised that this tablet is a 5-run homer as are all the Samsung products I own (TVs, cell phones, tablets, blu-ray ...... etc). It would take something from a far distant future to be able to compare with let alone over take anything that Samsung makes.

This is my 3rd samsung tablet and my second Tab A. I ran out of space on the first Tab A with 16 g, so this one is perfect with 32 g. I WISH Samsung would get rid of all the bloatware. I use it purely for entertainment, but the bloatware takes up all most 7 between the preinstalled google and Samsung apps

I have had this tablet 2-and-a-half years and it is already starting to fail. I am having problems with signing in, either the screen wont come up or the screen only stays up a second before shutting off again. At first restarting the tablet helped for 5 or 6 days but lately it only helps for an hour or so. Also there are times when the tablet is extremely slow to respond. Very disappointed in Samsung. Guess I wont be buying Samsung products anymore.

I bought it and returned after I found out that MS Office was not preinstalled. I have Samsung Tab A 9.7 and did not have to pay to use MS Office.
