I remember paying something like $80 for a 4GB microSD card a little more than a decade ago and marveling at how something the size of my thumbnail could hold a whopping 4GB. I just paid about the same for a 512GB. Absolutely incredible. I have purchased many, many Samsung cards in various size capacities over the years. For use in everything from Raspberry Pi’s, to video game consoles, dash cams, digital SLR cameras, cellphones, tablets, etc, etc. I have only had one fail on me, and it was quite old and had given me years of service running PiHole.

This is a official retail packaged memory card. The 512GB card had 477GB which is pretty standard. I havent had any issues with any 4k videos or high definition photos. Read & write speeds are pretty fast there isnt really any complaints.

Perfect fit for the new Samsung phone

Its a decent card, but it is not as fast as listed. I bought the 512GB card, listed at 90MB/s. I transferred about 150GB of large mp4s, and in the beginning it was clocking around 70MB/s. But, after a few minutes, it dropped to 50MB/s and stayed there for the duration. Its fine, but its about half the speed I expected. Im used to disappointment when it comes to drive speeds, but this was a little worse than Id expect. I would expect it to come in at least 75MB/s when its listed at 90.

Massive storage space for my Note 20 Ultra. Extremely fast transfer rate whether its on phone, or phone to computer... Not worried about it corrupting and me losing my pictures, Samsung SD card in a Samsung phone is always recommended.

I bought this for my wife to expand her Galaxy S10 phone; however, it only has slightly more than 460gb+ of usage storage. WHAT THE HECK!?!? I understand some storage is required for formatting, but 50gbs worth!? Thats way too much in my opinion. Just thought I would give others the heads-up. Otherwise, the card is good, solid speed, and quality you would expect from Samsungs EVO memory card line of products.

Card became corrupted within 2 months of use. Reformatted the card twice and had the same issue. Tried contacting Amazon 4 times for a warranty claim/refund. They never responded back. Definitely not worth saving a few dollars to buy it from Amazon.
