i just opened the tablet today and there was no plastic film protecting the screen on the tablet. Does anybody know if there should have been one? I purchased this device as NEW and do not want to pay full price for something that somebody else already used.

As an owner of an ipad pro 2021, this has great dimensions compared to my ipad pro. Quality throughout. Very impressive. Until the app designers upgrade their applications, some applications are not as clean as on iPad, which is beyond Samsungs control. Once that changes, this would be on equal footing with many applications on ipad pro.

Tablet size is just right for media consumption and productivity. Screen is gorgeous but 120hz drains battery much faster than the S6 Lite. But this thing has no observable difference with the new S8+ tbh, which made a good deal for under $500.

Great tablet

A worthy replacement for my Galaxy tab S2, and I finally pried the wife away from her iPad addiction. Fast, beautiful screen, dead easy to move files around between devices, great sound, SD cards up to 1TB, fast Wi-fi - i get 300 Mbps down and up.. So many good things to say. A real file System rather than that Apple thing thats built under the rheory that end users should never see files. Naturally, setup is taking longer than I like, but Im getting a lot of new, state of art, Apps. Whar a difference 6 years has made in tablets!

This tablet exceeds my expectations. Ive had cheaper Samsung tablets and this one is by far the best one Ive had. All of the Samsung tablet screens are great, battery life is very good so far. Speed of computing is so far, beyond what I thought it would be. I couldnt be happier. Highlighting text in one of the apps I use most often is so much easier than before. Id give this purchase more stars if I could.

To be honest .. I usually buy the cheap version of everything.

Great tablet for basically everything. I bought it specifically for art, and that 4k screen is really fantastic for it! Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers arent in necessarily prime locations it really projects!

Paid $1000 for this piece of junk with a battery that wont hold a charge straight out of the box. Both Amazon and Samsung customer Service are a useless joke, bunch of people who cant speak English and cant do their jobs! No matter how much more they charge, go to Best Buy or another physical store, dont get stuck with a thousand dollar paperweight like me.
