already set up- just plug it in and your samsung phone sees that its inserted and prompts you on how you wish to use it. I purchased 2 of these (my phone and daughters) and we have had no troubles to report.

Just what I ordered and super fast shipping.

I went in knowing some reviews were mostly positive, and some with low feedback scores. I unfortunately received two cards that did not work. My Nintendo Switch, New Nintendo 3DS, and Macbook Pro recognized the cards but they would not write the microSD cards. Initially, I assumed it was user error (me) but with a bit of work and research I learned that the cards were stuck in protect mode. I still looked at the cards and check if I switched to protect mode by accident, I tried formatting and again they were still stuck in read only. I also used different adapters but again, no luck. All in all, poor quality control. I only hear good things from Samsung but this is the rare instance I get two bad cards. Skip these and find other Samsung micro sd cards. In the mean time, Im sending these back.

Used in a GP 5 black without any issue. Ordered 4 more to handle footage of an upcoming ultra marathon in Moab.

This one worked well without any problem. I bought the same card before, then I had the problem trying to figure out why it didnt work. In the end I changed to a different adapter, and the problem was solved.
