> 3 dayI gave it less than perfect stars because... well, Its not a gaming monitor and the rest is only above average BUT - Its also an amazing deal for what your getting so, definitely appropriately priced maybe even tilting towards the benefit of the consumer. Id buy again without hesitation for an everyday home computer.

> 3 dayIt was a great monitor. Good spec. Work well. But die after 3 months. Dont buy it a waste of time. Warranty means nothing. I have an LG monitor that is great and has been working for 10 months. I just got a Thinlerain monitor a month ago. It works great and will write a review after 6 months.

> 3 dayMy old monitor was also a Samsung. It was 15 years old and still functioning very well. The picture quality on these is really superior. They are made to last. I have not found anything negative about this monitor. I am very please with this purchase.

> 3 dayHappy about that the monitor has HDMI and VGA (D-Sub) connection. The monitor does not have audio, but the workaround to set default audio to computer is a minor inconvenience.

> 3 dayI returned this monitor. I never could tell if I had it off or not. The switch was in an awkward area in the back.

> 3 daySummary All in all this monitor is a pretty great buy at sale price. Although I can’t say I’d recommend it a full pop. The lack of a headphone port leaves something to be desired. The picture is great for simple console gaming and basic productivity, but if you’re expecting ANYTHING more than that look somewhere else. Build quality At first glance the monitor looks like a solid piece of gear. Upon closer inspection the plastic-y feel definitely shows itself as you handle it. For a screen that’s simply sitting on the desk it’s fine, but if you’re like me and change your setup often the build quality could be better. Picture As with most 1080p monitors the picture on this thing looks fine. I would NOT recommend this for intense workloads like video colour correction or graphic design. Since I’m just using this to game simply on console I have no issues with the colour gamut and brightness that this can put out. If you’re expecting YouTube quality 1080p then this is fine. If you’re expecting more than that. Look elsewhere. No Audio?! I was fully aware that that this unit had no built in speakers. I wouldn’t expect that for the price it’s at. However, I did expect it to have at least a headphone out to link up with some external speakers. Even my older Asus 24” from 2009 had one. A bit of a disappointment in this area for sure. Minus one star for that.
