The drive is labeled as Samsung, (as advertised) but Windows reports it to be a JMicron Tech drive. Also, I did not see the advertised Magician 6 anywhere. If it was on the drive, it would be useless since the drive installation process required me to initialize it.

The SSD drive was easy to install and configure. Do not forget that a adapter bracket may be needed to install in desktop bays.

This is an excellent drive. I have never had a problem with Samsung. However, it is pricey on Amazon. Is cheaper at the Samsung website, and even cheaper (about $350 at Newegg.

Their drives seem to be dependable.
