Nach drei Monaten ist die externe Festplatte abgestürzt und war nicht mehr zu booten. Alle Daten waren verloren, ein großer Verlust.

Nice speed in a small and lightweight package. I use this as a media drive to and it works great between different platforms.

I have returned this 1TB SSD because it is not working on my computer system. I believe it has a design flaw because the replacement unit similarly didnt work. Initially, the SSD works after being fully formatted as NTFS and then bitlocker encrypted. CHKDSK reports it as ok without errors. HOWEVER, once it is used to move data between two computers (synchronize files), it is suddenly reported by Windows 10 as having errors, which Windows wants to correct. Then, CHKDSK reports multiple errors on the drive. Then the drive stops being recognized alltogether wiht fatal hardware error. Several hours, reformats, etc. later, same problem. Both SSDs that I had (first unit and replacement unit) showed the same problems. No solution. I lost at least a day worth of data. This is unfortunate because the drive is small, lightweight, and waterresistant. Unfortunately, if it doesnt work its useless to me. I am pretty computer savy (I build my own systems), so I am fairly certain that I did what could be done to get it to work. This drive may perform better on other computer systems.

im a singer so I work with a lot of music programs heavy programs and data plus I need to run all this data live from a external device due to the short storage of my macbook; had severals hdd and was always super slow and they alway kept connecting and disconnecting; so I got one of these I was a little exeptical because of the price. have been using this thing and I love it its amazing how a little thing can make your life way easier; its its extremely lightweight so I can carry my MacBook with it hanging with out having to worry about caring other devices; its super fast and convenient; worth the investment

Excellent, rapide et hyper compact. Totalement silencieux. À mon avis il est inutile dacheter une protection de transport car le produit a lair indestructible. Avec un peu de budget il est possible dutiliser ce type de disque dur en voyage ou en stockage pour un minimum de place.

Its very rare that Im surprised by electronics, but the new SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is one time that my expectations were surpassed. The drive is much smaller and lighter than I thought it would be when I first ordered it. This drive weights next to nothing and is wrapped in a durable, rubberized coating to keep it water resistant. When it was delivered, I was convinced that only the hard case, which I ordered with this drive, was in the package. Thats how feather-light this drive is.
