> 3 daySo far so good until this week when the disk has become Read Only so I can no longer back up onto it, and instead invites me to back up files and reformat. It is my Time Machine backup so I would have to buy a new disk to do this and as yet Im unsure if this will even solve the problem.

> 3 dayI moved all my documents to this - and encrypted it with a password. I keep it hidden when not in use - plug into my computer when I boot it up. Keeps everyone in the house off my documents, email, etc. They can use my computer but my files are not on it. Works Great! (But dont forget to backup often to another encrypted drive).
