SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-2T00-G25

It appears that it is for the second time within the 6 months I am not able to read / write any data from / to the SanDisk SSD 500 GB. Last time I run check disk on Windows and was lucky to get the disk repaired. I am the Mac User. Mac was not able to repair this product disk.Now I am not able to repair the disk on Windows as well. Sorry but it is for the second time within the 6 months and I use this drive with the Lightroom only. So I guess maximum twice a month. So it means this product is a garbage.

Its not as portable as users point out. It almost as big as a bar of soap and is slippery.

Our local Walmart has reconfigured the electronics section and that is the first time I purchased this portable SSD with HALF the storage capacity. This item was returned to Walmart today. Why? Because I a purchased the 500GB model right here on Amazon. You cannot beat the price and the included connections make life easy!

And thats not a bad thing. I was just so shocked by how light it is. Its got a great texture to it as well. A smooth felt like fabric on the back. Even though I havent tried out Samsungs portable SSD, I have no quarrels recommending this one over it. As far as speeds go, it does the job and Im definitely impressed. The carabiner is an added bonus and it helps that the drive itself is really durable but Im questioning who is out there shackling this thing to their backpacks or what have you.
