Great USB stick. Quite fast for small files and then it slows down.

I dislike that it has no light to show its energized. I use primarily to move video and music files between devices without using MiFi. Some devices when powered off also turn off the drive. Others do not and it leaves the drive running which can shorten its life. Without a light best to remove the drive from the device.

Liked everything. Held a lifetime of videos.

Unlike some other less-known brands usb flash drives, these work right out of the package with no bs hassles. They cost a little more, but you make up that amount instantly by not having to waste time screwing around trying to get them to work. Save yourself headaches and frustration, get these.

I use SanDisks thumb drive and its frustrating that they always have less storage than they claim to have: 32GB thumb drive has 29.3, a 256GB thumb drive has only 233 available, etc. Unfortunately this one is no different and the storage discrepancy far worse. 512GB on the package, but only 460GB on the device itself. I know some people will try to claim that this is due to some esoteric (and trivial) difference with how GBs are calculated but that doesnt wash. Everybody knows that when people say GB theyre talking about how much storage will be available when they put it into their laptop or desktop and every company knows how to do that. If SanDisk gave me the item and I claimed to have paid them $45 for it, but they found out afterwards that I only gave them $41, nobody would offer excuses for me if I claimed that its due to some obscure difference in how money is calculated for amazon, Sandisk and myself -nobody would buy that. Ive never had problem with SanDisk products but lets all be honest , this is false labeling and it needs to stop.
