> 3 dayIve used SanDisk products before and have never had an issue with any SSDs or Flash drives from them. One of the two I bought as a 2-pack I used to install MemTest86 so I could test my RAM. Thought I was having RAM problems. This diagnostic tool allows one to test their RAM after setting the BIOS to startup from the Flash drive with MemTest86 on it. Anyway, it only uses a very small part of the Flash drive but since its a dedicated program to the drive I did have to go into Disk Management (part of the Control Panel in Win 10) and reclaim the unused disk space, which was simple for me to do. Just find the partition, right-click and select Simple Volume and click Start. I know my use is not important to most users but I just wanted to note that SanDisk made it possible for me to use the remaining part of this 64GB flash drive. Most dedicated diagnostic programs want to claim the whole disk, no matter the size of the application. So, being able to format the remaining space into usable storage space was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this SanDisk Flash drive to anyone. They are small, the USB port slides into the housing to protect it from damage, and it can be attached to a key chain or lanyard for easy transport or identification (lanyard color). These are so inexpensive these days that its handy to have one or two around for moving or storing data, and because of their low cost, a person can have redundant copies of important data files so that if one fails in the future there will be another copy. Ive never had a SanDisk flash drive fail personally so far but I have had other brands do so when I needed them to work. Anyway, these are excellent quality flash drives that dont cost much.

> 3 dayMy work has a paranoid virus scanner (AVG) that wants to scan all of the empty sectors for viruses. It crashes on anything larger than 256GB. When I complain to my IT guys, they look at me like someone with terminal cancer and just say that there is nothing they can do - must be a bad drive. Works on my home computers running defender. Now I have a nice big drive that only works on my personal computers. Yay... That being said, it does work well as a device. I dont have 500GB blocks of data to move at home though.
