My old Sandisk 64GB USB 3.0 memory stick formats out to 59.32 GB with a NTFS file system. This new Sandisk 64 GB formats out to 57.0 GB with a NTFS fIle system. At first insertion it was not recognized by any PC that I own. I could only get it to be recognized by doing the following in a Windows command window with administrator privileges; Diskpart List disk ( this showed the unrecognized Sandisk as Disk 1) Select Disk 1 Clean Create Partition Primary Select Partition 1 Active Format FS=NTFS Assign Exit After this process the New Sandisk Stick Drive is recognized but still only has 57.0 GB of storage area. Diskpart showed no other partitions so just what is using the missing GBs..... malware?

This is a very reasonably priced set of flash drives. 32GB is more than enough for a very wide range of storage. I use them as clone storage devices for a backup to important family information, pics, videos, etc... It only comes with one small lanyard so it would have been nice to have one for each but its money well spent, regardless. I wont get into the technical specs and capabilities of these USB 3.0 devices but rest assured that the speed at which files transferred did not pose a problem for me. They do not seem to heat up and there were no problems to speak of whatsoever.

There is not a lot to say. You plug it in, you save your files, you read your files, you pull it out. and then, because this particular model is too small, you will not be able to find it. Miniaturize is great. Until it became unnaturally too small for you. Notice how a brick phone became smaller and smaller until they were too small? And now they are getting bigger and bigger. The new foldable phones now are as big as an iPad. I would not buy this again because of the physical size is too small.

USB 2.0 and #.0 speeds are identical...... Spend a few more bucks if you are like me and need advertised speeds
